Kasey Koons, CSR
Kasey was born and raised in Maryville, Tennessee. She attended Heritage High School. Prior to joining EFM, she was a Customer Service Representative for Park Med Ambulatory Clinic. She joined EFM in January of 2014.
Kasey is married to Shawn Koons. She has 2 children; Dakota and Gavin. When not at the office, she can be found at her children's sporting events. She also enjoys camping and off-road adventures.
Melanie Tapley, CSR
Melanie was born and raised in Illinois. At age 16, she and her family moved to Florida. She graduated from Atlantic High School and then attended Palm Beach Community College.
Melanie moved to Tennessee in 2014 to be closer to her family. She began working with Easterly Family Medicine in April 2014.
Melanie enjoys spending time with her husband, traveling to Cades Cove, and reading in her spare time
Izabella Purdy, CPT, MA
Bell was born and raised in East Tennessee. She graduated from Loudon High School in 2021. Bell completed her Phlebotomy Degree in 2022 with Compassionate Care Technical Center. Prior to joining EFM, she worked with MEDIC Regional Blood Center in Knoxville from 2022 to 2024. Bell joined EFM in November of 2024.
Outside of the office, Bell enjoys spending time with friends and attending her local church.
Suzi Houser, AEMT, MA
Suzi was born and raised in East Tennessee. She graduated from Jefferson County High School in 2005. Suzi was a Medical Assistant for 2 years with Faculty Physicians in Knoxville and obtained her Advanced EMT degree in 2021. Prior to joining EFM, she worked at AMR in Blount and Knox County as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician. Suzi joined EFM in November of 2024.
Jennifer Easterly, RN
Jenny was born in Knoxville and raised in New Market, Tennessee. She graduated from Jefferson County High School in 1990. She then attended the University of Tennessee where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Prior to joining EFM, she worked with Sycamore Shoals Hospital and Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. She also was an instructor at the Tennessee Technological Center in Elizabethton training nurses.
Jenny has 4 daughters; Ellie, Sophie, Maggie and Mary Katherine. When not at the office, Jenny loves riding and caring for her horses.

Amanda Anderson, CMA
Amanda was born and raised in East Tennessee. She graduated from William Blount High School in 2009. Amanda was a CNA for 6 years before obtaining her Medical Assistant degree in 2016. Prior to joining EFM, she worked at the Low T Center in Knoxville. Amanda joined EFM in August of 2020.
Amanda and her husband have 3 children; Noah, Savannah and Gracie-May. In her free time, you will find Amanda cheering for her children on the football field, basketball court and baseball field. She is also an avid motorcyclist and enjoys taking long rides with her husband.
